Anti-caking agent FAMAK

FAMAK is a liquid urea-formaldehyde condensation polymer.


Famak is used for curing urea by coating the surface of pellets. The agent is used for external coating of raw urea pellets in drums or in dumping sections of transportation belt conveyor flights.

Effects of applying Famak:

- no dusting observed in workplaces during storing or reloading
emission of free formaldehyde in workplaces does not exceed TLV 0,5 mg N/m3
- coated urea can be used as a fertilizer or for technical purposes
- static and dynamic stability of urea pellets increases

Packaging and storing:

Famak can be poured into road tankers, insulated tank cars, polyethylene containers with a capacity of 1000 l, or other containers consulted with the recipient and carrier as long as they protect the product not less than the above-listed containers.

Famak should be stored in closed containers or closed tanks designed for that purpose (concrete tanks coated inside with epoxy lining, tanks made of acid resistant steel).

Storing temperature: approx. 20 °C
Product life: 60 days from the production date


Famak can be transported in tank cars or road tankers.
